Can’t Take It Anymore
I am sick of listening to the socialist garbage (I was going to say crap, but I’m a pastor, you know. We’re not allowed to be real people) that is being spewed by Obama and his cronies this week. I am also sick of hearing how bad our country is. I am tired of hearing about change when change means more socialism even though they don’t have the guts to admit that socialism is what we have and they want more of. So, I decided to get on Youtube and listen to some real speeches. Here’s a couple examples for you.
God bless America. It is a great nation and it is great because we trust(ed) in God and we were free.
More Power
Caleb and I were at the range this evening fire-forming some brass for my Contender. I thought I would share my joy with you.

Why is it always MY car?
I just finished perusing an article about “car free” day in Seattle. I hope that all you little green people excuse me for being ignorant, but I do have what I think is a legitimate question:
Why is it always MY car?
Why isn’t it China’s cars? Whay isn’t it the thousands of airplanes that fly across this nation every day? Why isn’t it the thousands of limos that the Hollywood and governmental elite ride around in? Why isn’t it Al Gore and his $12,000 per month electric bill? Why isn’t it the boats and the yachts that the Kennedy’s and other rich people own? Why isn’t it the multiple homes that John McCain and John Kerry possess? Who needs more than one home? Why isn’t it the trucking industry with the millons of tractor-trailers zooming at 80 MPH down our interstates? Why isn’t it the motorcycles? Why isn’t it the huge zero-turn lawn mowers that are circling our lawns? Why isn’t it all the tractors and combines and other huge equipment that “Big Farming” uses? Why isn’t it the construction industry or the mining industry with all their diesel polluters?
Has anyone yet come up with an electric Boeing 747? Has anyone invented the electric front-end loader or crane? How about an electric yacht or electric tractor-trailer? Maybe we ought to have a “limo-free” day or an “jet-free” day! Maybe we ought to have an “China-free” day.
No…it has to be MY car.
What A Week!
We’ve been on vacation this week. It’s 1:00 AM Sunday morning and I am just sitting here reflecting on the past six days. Most people go into a vacation week with an itinerary prepared. We tend to make it up as we go along. I like it that way. So, being a procrastinator, here is our itinerary for the past week (listed without times and dates because, quite honestly, I don’t remember them):
Erie zoo with Bethany
Crawford County Fair…twice
Presque Isle State Park with a nice walk on the beach and a picnic lunch
Buffalo/Niagara Falls area
Racing at Mercer
Also included was sleeping in, walks with Linda, playing with my firearms and other time-consuming, but relaxing activities. Spent a lot of money. Had a lot of fun.
Forgot how important I am.
Vacation the way it ought to be!
Who am I?
Who am I and why should you keep up with my blog? Good question. I am no one and maybe I have nothing noteworthy to say. But then again, I might.
You see, I’m a pastor….whoa wait! I know what you’re thinking. Dull. Boring. Sermons and homilies (for you catholics out there), polyester and ties from the ’70s.
Nope. Not this guy.
Yeah, I’m called to be a spokesman. God wants me to minister. But that doesn’t mean that I have to perpetuate religion. God is real and I want to point people to Him. Not some go-through-the-motion-so-I-can-feel-good-about-me religion. So it may just be that I will write something that could be, well, controversial. I will surely write something that is “non-orthodox”.
And you, you’re sick of religion. If you’re not, you should be. God isn’t about religion. He’s about life. Are you living? Would you like a new life?
My name is Cliff…Come join the FAITH REVOLUTION!
